The African
Renaissance concept, forged by Cheikh Anta Diop in 1948, has seen its
formalization as a speech by President Thabo Mbeki, in South Africa. The
Mbeki�s design turned around a cultural and economic development is
based on democracy and good governance, however, it leaves a number of
essential axes to consider if we want this twenty-first century to be
truly that of Africa.
The African Renaissance Theory that we have developed here is above all
to be a holistic and realistic contribution. It broadens and deepens the
prospects for the design of African Renaissance speech, in this world
of the twenty-first century governed by the blocks logic, and facing a
major challenge, terrorism.
